Earth Day Videos

Sometimes a quick video is the easiest way to introduce or reinforce a concept.

These are a few that do a great job explaining Earth Day and helping students understand how they can take care of the earth in everyday ways.

Natural Resources Activities

Earth Day is also a great time to introduce or review natural resources.

Students start learning about renewable and nonrenewable resources, and this is where things can really start to click when they have something concrete to work with.

I like using simple, print-and-go activities that students can complete in class or take home as an easy extension. If you want something structured and easy to use, this natural resources unit walks students through everything step by step without adding extra prep for you.
