My Favorite Valentine’s Day Ideas for Students (Fun Activities)
WOW, teaching in February is one of the best months to teach. Students and teachers are a bit refreshed from the break. You can also eat lots of chocolate candy. With these Valentine’s Day activities for kids, your students will be sure to have a great time! In this post, I will share with you some fun Valentine’s Day ideas for students.

Valentine’s Day Ideas for Students: Anchor Charts
The first set of worksheets in this Valentine’s Day activities for kids pack is some fun premade anchor chart templates. The anchor chart templates included are:

The History of Valentine’s Day
Take me back to second grade! Picture learning about history, reading, writing, and math by focusing on a fun topic like Valentine’s Day. I would forget that I am learning. Especially if you can add in a Valentine’s Day party!
During this unit, students learn about the history of Valentine’s Day by studying the life of St, Valentine.
Students also learn about vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and math. There are a ton of fun worksheets students can choose from to learn about Valentine’s Day in this Valentine’s Day activity. Some worksheets included are non-fiction readers, a reading compression page, a mini picture book, facts cards, and more!
Valentine’s Day Ideas for Students: Vocabulary
Vocabulary worksheets make a great morning work activity. For example, it helps get students ready for the day. Working with new words to write sentences helps ELL students prepare for the day.
In this Valentine’s Day activity, students will learn about the words; Valentine’s Day, St. Valentine, Valentine, admirer, rose, dove, celebrate, and holiday.
