Earth Day Videos
Here are great videos that do a good job of talking about earth day and how to take care of the earth.
Earth Day Flip Book
Help your students learn about Earth Day by completing this easy to print flipbook. I love Earth Day home activities for kids that celebrate Earth Day, taking care of the Earth, and teach students about recycling, reducing, and reusing resources.
Natural Resources Activities
Earth Day is a great time to talk about Earth’s natural resources. In elementary school, students learn about renewable and nonrenewable resources. I love using activities that help students understand the difference between the two. These worksheets in my Natural Resources Unit are easy to print off and send home as homework and a fun weekend project to work on with their family.
Earth Day Google Slides
Another fun Earth day activity that students can do at home is using Google Slides. I love making Google slides resources for my students because they can either be used at home or in the classroom. It is also a great way to save paper and adds a fun twist to traditional paper activities.
Free Earth Day Home Activities: Anchor Charts
Making anchor charts is another one of my favorite activities to do! I love using these free printable ones that you can project onto your document camera to recreate a larger version. I like to have my students use a blank version to take notes on as they learn bout Earth Day. You can grab a free copy of these anchor charts and graphic organizers HERE!
